When it comes to smoothies, you can always find yourself in a win-win-win situation. Quick to make, healthy start to the day, and all while tasting delicious? Whether you prefer a topping loaded bowl or on-the-go with a straw, these magical blends can fit any lifestyle and taste. If you’re not sold on the smoothie life just yet, I’m sharing 3 easy smoothie recipes here to elevate your morning routine!
The magic behind these tropical treasures is finding the perfect balance of fat, protein, and carbs to leave you satisfied while tasting yummy as well. My favorite structure goes as this: some greens of choice, plant-based protein powder, chia or flaxseeds, dried & fresh fruit, and topped with either nut butters, seeds, and/or more fruit! If you choose not to put toppings, I suggest blending them in so you still get the benefits 🙂
You can shop my favorite unflavored plant-based protein powder here: Sunwarrior Plant-Based Protein
All my other favorite smoothie add-ins and toppings (ie. figs, dates, coconut, cacao powder, etc.) can be found at Trader Joe’s, Costco, or any health food/grocery store. Find the article breaking down all my Trader Joe’s Favorites here.
